I'm of the age where if any one should peer, They deserve what the got! ;-)In the summer I have an outside shower. 200 feet of garden hose and nozzle. Lying in the sun I get about two minuets of warm water.
Did I mention my nearest neighbor is over two miles away.
Just make sure that you are ok with the energy cost. They make saunas look inexpensive.
All the best,
Peter
Got a name for that one and a link to it?I definitely enjoy washing off with the hose in the summer and have plans for an outdoor shower spot. Here we don't have much concern with pipes freezing 99.5% of the time.
I wonder if there's a way you could rig up the plumbing so it's like a self-draining/frost proof hydrant such that every time it's turned off it drains.
hmm
freezeless automatic draining wall hydrant

then you could use your outdoor shower year-round!![]()
I hope that is not the case. My wife HATES to be cold and has asthma so I think she will honestly use this for 9 months out of the year. We will see!Ive hooked up power to about a dozen of them…..unless you plan ventilation, gfci all lighting and gasket them to prevent moisture intrusion , and a way to get steam out of the room…..you will hardly ever use it.
Just like jacuzzi tubs. When i talk to customers….no one ever uses them.
For asthma, I could see it. Cold can set off many asthma sufferers. I would put in an Energy Recovery Ventilator, and if possible, combine the bathroom exhausts to a central exhaust that could be run through an ERV. I would double check that the ERV that you select is HEPA capable.I hope that is not the case.
