Anyone have any experience with a Massey 3645?

I'm looking at a 2008 Massey Ferguson 3645 4wd open station with ALO loader. It has the powershuttle transmission. The tractor has 2400 hours on it. Any known problems with these tractors? I can't find a lot of info on the net about them. The price of this tractor seems too good to be true but it is coming from a farm sale/divorce situation.

I kind of done a quick check to see on the web. I did find a couple transmission shifting issues. Look at some of different forums post when you Google that tractor. As far as cheap price??? I've seen it before in a divorce or family squabble were something sells cheap just to "get even" with the spouse or other family members. I'm in a situation like that on a piece of property. I got a $1,000,000+ offer and contract on a piece of property and can't get a couple family members to get in the game. I'm afraid it is going to be forced thru court, we loose the buyer and it sells for peanuts at a public auction. Then the judges and lawyers will get a big chunk of it. Divorces and family squabbles can get ugly and nasty. That maybe why the tractor is priced cheap

Good tractor but power shuttle tractors had some electronic issues in the transmission which affected must of them. No problems once fixed - the question is whether or not its been fixed yet or not.

I'm all too familiar with the problems associated with powershift transmissions. I have a Case IH 5230 powershift that has issues. I was hoping to get away from that those kinds of problems but it sounds like it's an issue no matter what make.

This is long past but for anyone else who searches. The units had a bad wiring harness that caused issues and massey replaced it under warranty . Confirm it is done and they are good machines after that . You would need to talk to original dealer to confirm . Its around 1000 for part and 1000 for labor otherwise.
