Anyone have any experience with Shelter Logic Portable Garages?

Mine has been through 2 winters and is still in great shape. It's 8 ft wide and 16 ft long. Had to go to 10 ft high(I think) to get a door opening high enough for the ROPS on the 755 to fit through. Two weeks ago I lifted it 16" so I can park my mini-excavator in it.

While I knock the snow off when I get around to it, it is pretty much self-shedding. Never had any problems with wind, either, because it is firmly anchored to the ground.

Keep in mind that there are different styles of ShelterLogic shelters, and ShelterLogic warns that some are not suitable for snow areas. Give them a call if you're considering one.

So far so good on mine. I have it anchored on VERY heavy railroad ties! That sucker isn't going anywhere!

Ezlivn,

I like this idea (like Jimmyj's), I'll move mine next year and add timbers with the deck boards (assuming it lasts the winter...)

The railroad ties served 2 purposes. Weight....and the extra clearance i needed for my ROPS to get through the doors. I don't have a folding ROPS.

Added weight is a good idea......the height is a bonus too....!

I have 2, 1 is a 12'x20 my 83 k20 stays in 20+ years old. The cover tore a few years back had a tarp to cover the tear down the middle. Other is 14'x 28'x 12'H bought used 8 years ago for short $$.Where my 1958 Ford 821 stays and mowers other stuff. Hurricane Sandy blew a large hemlock on it, bent it up pretty bad. Bent it back somewhat and is still standing. Both have had at least 2'+of snow on them at some point. Going to replace it with a little larger round top shortly here. Happy to come across this post. Looking at a 18'w 44'l 11'h. Wife asks, why so you can store my junk? Probably!
