I finally got mine this past week and unboxed it today. My lift arms on my B2601 will not go low enough either. The pins would need to be a few inches up to work correctly for me. I only paid $203 delivered though with the Labor Day coupon they were offering so I really can't complain.
if you look at the factory B8160 Kubota ballast box the pins are much higher up on each side. The downside is the Kubota box is not quick hitch or Pats compatible.

amigauser, I too have a B2601 and have my Titan ballast box filled with 600 lbs of concrete. With our first snowfall of the season, I was surprised that I could no longer plow and steer with the box on (the weight in the back took needed weight off the front tires). Taking the box off (I set it on two stacked pallets) was so difficult I had to resort to removing one of the lower link pins of the box to get it done before sundown.
I'd be interested in your experience with hooking/unhooking. The B2601 has fixed lower links. To spread the lower links it seems that the tractor and box need move closer to each other during the spread for this to happen easily - this is difficult with a 1500lb tractor and 730lb implement! What's worse, I think the amount of spread possible is reduced on the B2601 the lower those arms are. It might be impossible to remove the box without moving the box side-to-side when the link arms are all the way down.
It seems that I'll be making a dolly for this box, but I need to determine the minimum height it must be. TBD soon.
