Anyone heard of using Dodge or Ford wheels on mobile home axles?

I saw an ad for a utility trailer with mobile home axles that said that Dodge or Ford wheels could be substituted for mobile home wheels.

Does anyone know how this is done?

I also recently noticed a friends trailer that had been built by his grandfather. The axles were mobile home axles and the wheels had hubs with holes welded into them that allowed standard lug nuts to be used.

They do make replacement hubs for MH axles to get rid of the pain in the but system they came with.
