Anyone here own a Takeuchi mini ex ?

I just picked up a used one 2018 mod with 1800 hrs. seems to be a good machine for the money. TB235

I think the Tak TL12 is the probably best & strongest large frame skid steer you can buy. ASV has more power, but cab & visibility bad.
The Tak minis Ive rented have been great

I wanted a TB240. More HP and little more weight, But @35 hp you have to deal with DPF. It's a shame they mandated DPF on 35 HP. I don't like any of it, But the cut off point could have been @40-50 HP range

I bet those mandates get stricter & even more impossible as the ever increasingly oppressive regime increases the standards of air pollution.

My excavator contractor has a takeuchi. He works it hard and says it is a very good machine.

They don’t have the most gadgets and electronics and I think that’s a good thing.

A neighbor works for an excavation/underground facilities construction company. They have a few smaller Taks and says they are excellent machines.
Of course YMMV
