I hooked it up and it works perfectly. One question though. The previous owner had capped off the hoses on the plow to keep water and dirt out. When I replaced the males with other 1/2" males to match the setup I changed when I installed my grapple one of his wouldn't fit. I thought 1/2" males are all the same but one just wouldn't thread on. Is there some 1/2" quick connect that is just slightly different for some purpose?

There are several different female threads on a 1/2" male quick connector, the most common being the 1/2" npt or the 3/4-16 ORB. The quick connect being the 1/2" ag type but with different threads for the threaded ends.
