Anyone near Ontario CA (need help on ebay purchase)

I think it is a scam and would report that to ebay. I am not sure, but maybe ebay can come up with a postal code or something, but its more likely that it is a fake anyways. I stopped ebaying, because of all the scams on and non paying peeps.

Wow, thanks for all the responses. The postal code he gave me was 91762 if that helps.

Most of you have written scam, I tend to agree. He does not show up in white pages, he has not answered any of my emails, and his bank said the account where he wants the money wired to has been open less than a month. Too bad it was a pretty good deal.

A little more info. I sent him an email stating because you have not answered my emails about your identity, I am not sending the money. He writes me back and says. "Hi, Ron.
well okay, I'm considering this deal canceled..."

I was going to send an email offering to use Escrow.com as a way of protecting us both, but I have to agree with you all, it seems like a scam. He has been with EBay since 2000, but the only feedback exists within the last month and most for small items. Thank you all of your responses.......

Sounds like he hijacked a Ebay account that was opened q while ago but never used. The small transactions over the past month were done just to build some feedback before the scamming began... as it appears.
