I need to sell one of the two Unimogs I got to help with the cost of restoring the other!! My wife is screaming at me to get at least one of these out of the driveway!! I don't care which one I sell, just need to only have one at a time!! For all the info go here,
unimog info
For the one that I have road ready, the price is $18,500. For the one that I haven't done anything to yet, the price is $14,500. Sure beats buying a new one at $200k!!!! They are both 1979's, with 5.7L 6 cyl. diesels, and have PTO's both front and rear, heavy duty springs, again both front and rear, ROPS. Rear sway bar, duel hydraulic systems, heated windshields, air wipers, and host of other options! With such low hours and miles these trucks are not even "BROKEN IN" yet! Mercedes Benz figures that any major engine rebuilds will be around 13,000-15,000 hours, and with both having less than 1000 hrs. These trucks will last another 50-70 years!! Let me know if you have any interest! Von

Fun to look at, but not practical for me.

Do you have the specs (weight) of these. They look like fun!

Ron they weigh in at 7715lbs. If you go to the link on the top left of the page there is another link, that has some scans of the CASE brochures. On that page you should be able to find all the specs.

Just to update:

I just did about $2k worth of work to the one mog. Put new seals in the front axle and tranny. The price is still the same! I also have updated the web site with more photos. All info can be found here! Unimog info
Thanks, Von

I'd really like to take one off your hands, but preserving my marriage is top priority. Too many toys now. I know whoever buys one from you will not be dissapointed. Wish it was me. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I own an Unimog together with 2 friends, it is room enough for your legs, trouble is getting in. I measure 6.627296587926509 foot according to a site I found on the net. Great fun, goes anywhere!!
We use it for fun, and for woodsplitting.Pic shows wife and a friend.

Von, you sure do know how to keep us guys drooling and dreaming. I watched your last "project" and have nothing but respect for your talents and workaholism.

I would love to have one, to keep and play with for the rest of my life. I just can't afford it right now. I'm sure someone will want one, its just a matter of the right person reading this thread with some spare coins.

DITTO

If my ship ever comes in one of those Unimogs would make a perfect playmate for some of the other toys I'd have to acquire.
