Anyone own a Troy bilt Bronco?

As previously stated, the old models that were made by TroyBilt were awesome units, but they're now made by MTD. Not even remotely the same quality machines they used to be. I was in the market for a tiller a couple years ago and after comparison shopping, I passed up the TroyBilt for Husqvarna. It just seemed to be a better built machine, plus, the tines are reversible, so it will run either direction depending on conditions. (Works great for dislodging rocks that have jambed in the working end.)

Not pushing Husky, just saying I'm disappointed by TroyBilt and there are better brands out there.

I didn't realize MTD made them now, probably at the same cost too I guess. Purdy sad..

Troy Bilt went bankrupt. MTD bought the tiller line out of bankruptcy. There are some posts on this in the Troy Bilt forum here.

On the 6' tiller, boy you got that right, saves allot of walking. I love mine, but I would still like the little one to get between the rows when the crops get up a little, that beats a hoe. I wouldn't trade for my big tiller.

Yes sir it sure does and agree on the walk behind thats where my craftsman 900 18" comes in handy about mid season its got large tires and gets around real well and I believe since its craftsman Husqvarna builds it.

MTD and Husqvarna are the biggest power yard tool companys is what I understand anyway fwtw. :thumbsup:
