Anyone own or tried out an Ingersoll all Hydraulic Garden Tractor?

years ago my neighbor had a case.. thing was tough as nails.

too bad ingersol has such a limited dealer network. I actually went as far as to inquire about one before i bought my x540 as they are definitely in another league. id say they are in the deere 700 class.

I was told the nearest dealer was the factory in maine.... really...

They need to get these machines out there.. there well built, but alot of good that does if no one can find a dealer.

I've got an Ingersoll 416 with the 16HP Briggs Vanguard and a Cub Cadet with a 23HP Kohler. You would think the Cub would have it over the Ingersoll, but you would be wrong. I use the Cub to make 2 passes around the yard only because the turning radius is much better, then I switch to the Ingersoll for the rest of my cutting. It's like the difference between a Yugo and a Lincoln. The ride, the cut, the noise, it's all better with the Ingersoll. And those 16 horses on the Ingersoll make the 23 on the Cub look like ponies, not horses . I use a snow blower on the Ingersoll in the winter unless it's real bad, then I get out the diesel tractor with front/rear blades. The little Ingersoll is quite a work horse, just takes a while to get used to the hand controls rather than the HST pedals like my other tractors.
