How are these machines? very light commercial and homeowner use bucket use and maybe snow removal, playing in the yard so to speak.
What do you look for in these if buying used? Haven't seen one in person yet but it is small enough to trailer without big trucks about 3000. Are there any other small units that are in this size out there? This seems like oe of the smaller ones you can get.

I own an ASV RC 30. Nice little machine, I now have over 1000 hrs on it. Had a few problems that were under warranty take care of by the dealer, no cost, no problem (hose relocate problem, 1/2 of cost of a blown motor seal, 1/2 cost of a front idler axle and bearings). Things to check: Do all fittings take grease? Are track lugs chewed up? Any repair lugs on the tracks? Do track adjusters move as they should? Does the machine track straight, or do you continually have to move the handle to compensate?
I have used this machine to move 500 lb round bales, to do light grading, to dig deep holes, snowblowing, harley raking, bush hogging, flail mowing, tree trimming, road grading, post hole digging, dead mule burying, as many things as you can think of. I have 14 attachments for it now and am building 2 more right now.(I think I need professional help LOL). It's like a Swiss army knife. I say go for it!:D :D

I have rented them. For thier size and power, I have been very impressed. I have used larger CAT track machines, and various Bobcat skidsteers. The RC30 is my favorite. I used it for material transfer, light digging, and grading. I am totally sold on the machine. Wish I could afford to buy one myself!

I did note that the rental units did take a beating. Seemed to hold up well in the local rental fleet though.
