You can buy pre-made jumper cable sets with the bumper disconnect from Napa. I personally make my own from welding cable and welder plugs from the welding supply store.

I have seen what you are describing on emergency vehicles in large cities. They have a connection in front and one in the trunk. They carry a set of jumper cables and simply hook to the battery in the vehicle needing a jump start. This keeps the traffic flowing and lowers the risk injury to the individual offering assistance. I asked a emergency responder one night after watching him assist a motorist who did the installation work and he advised their maintenance facility fabricated them for each unit.

Flexible wire can be purchased along with the solder on ends, then measure and fabricate. You will need wire capable of carrying high AMPS.

I put a set on my f250 , I bought them at napa, they weren't cheap, about $250 with the pig tails and really heavy duty jumpers, they have a plastic plug in that is mounted right in my grill. I have had them for a long time now and they are great. the jumpers are like 30' long so you can pull in front of a car and still reach behind you to jump it. I think they are for tow trucks, hope this helps. Bruce

Warn industries also sells them. Just make sure you have caps or cover for your plugs when disconnected . LUTT

Used the ends that the electric forklifts use at work. The female ends come out the grill on my F-350 diesel. Welding cable about 20 feet long with good clamps complete the set. Cheap as possible , but very handy.

Anderson connectors and #2 welding cable work great on my truck and tractor. I also have a set of booster cables with an Anderson in the middle. They are almost identical to the ones that Warn sells. A small file makes the Warn units fit if you remove a tiny bit of plastic.
My three 8000lb winches also have Andersons on them.

You can get the plastic shells separately to make them fit. Like colors should mate.

Last time I looked a place called Powerwerx sold them. Look for SB series connectors.
