Anyone selling your BX2200?

I think I have narrowed may needs down and the BX seems to be the right fit. Anyone out there (hopefully in the southeast) planning on selling a well kept 2001 BX2200? I have and offer from a dealer of $12,000 BX2200,60mmm,loader. I can probably get them down a little more and there will be no tax. With this in mind I would only by used if there is a justifiable difference in price. Let me know.

That's a pretty good price. You might as well buy one new. It's gunna be hard to find one that someone is "giving away". You'll have no question this way either. You'll know what the machine has been through from day one.

I've been dreaming of a BX myself, and shopping pretty hard here in South Central PA, but used BXs are hard to come by. I did fine ONE, with 20 hours, equipped as you mentioned, but the dealer was asking $11,700 before haggling. Not worth it, in my opinion.

Which dealer? When I bought my New Holland at Messicks in E-town, I noticed they had several new BX2200s sitting out front.

Mike, I shopped at Messick's, and they have a good selection of new tractors and older used tractors. I too, like bxdreamer, was hoping to get a *used* BX at a bargain price, but quickly realized that I probably would not be able to do that.

The only dealer I found with a used BX was Keller Brothers.

Messicks had a very nice (< 100 hours) New Holland TC21D with a FEL and 60" mid mount mower. I briefly considered it before buying a new TC25D. The 21D is a smaller compact tractor although not as small as a BX2200.

I'm pretty sure I looked at that tractor. If I recall, the price on it was not that far from a new BX. I *really* like both the New Hollands and the Kubotas. Unfortunately, my budget won't allow me to get quite what I want. I'm still looking for a good used tractor. I've been looking hard for about 2 months now, and no luck so far. But I have realized through this forum that many people have looked for longer than I have before finding the right tractor.
