Anyone tracking feed runs or tractor time with software?

Hey all,

Quick question — anyone here using any kind of automated feedlot software to help track feeding schedules or tractor use?

We’ve got tractors doing the usual — feed runs, manure, bedding — and started logging some of it through a system to see where we were losing time or doubling up. It’s helped cut down on fuel use and tighten up our feeding routes.

Just curious if others are doing something similar or if most folks are still running it old school. Would love to hear what’s working for you.

Interesting to hear. Not connected to a feedlot, but interesting to hear that someone is looking at efficiency.

Being a single owner operator I don't but I do practice fuel conservation as in not idling my units excessively and I use multiple tractors with dedicated tools attached and of course I stay up on preventive maintenance as well. especially intake filters and cabin filters. Nothing eats fuel like clogged air filters. and nothing worse than a hot cab because the cabin filter is clogged up.
