I'm pretty close to purchase of a BX2200 - I am wondering whether accessories such as the one pictured is useful. Anyone used one?

Do a search on Quick hitches in the archives, there are tons of discussions about them......

I have a Speedco which looks like that if it isn't the same. Mine works ok, but I had to modify all of my implements to fit. Be sure to measure between the lower hooks and the pins on the attachment.
