I was seriously considering havaing a plate fabricated to adapt to Bobcat attachments. They are readily available for rent here...a power rake goes for $100.00 per day.

The plate looks like it woud be pretty simple to make, use the PT custom attachment plate mouted to a 3/8 think (or so) steel plate which would slip into the bobcat attachments.

The hose fittings should fit up, if not a hydralic shop should be able to make an adaptor.

The 1850 runs 18GPM at 3200psi , which I believe is comparable to Bobcat, and other skid steers.

Can't address the adapter plate issue, but I do recall a thread that raised concerns over hooking up a PT to potentially contaminated rental hydraulic implements.

Does the 1850 filter all supply lines or only the drive circuit like the PT-425?

Charlie, thanks for that link..thats exactly what I'm talking about. Have you found out if the hoses are th esame? If not, I can pick up a couple of power trac connectors tomorrow to make up an adaptor.
I'll stop by the Bobcat plaace on the way home (I'll pass right by it, /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

The only implement I have used is a grapple bucket. I had to replace two hoses with smaller ones to work on the PT. I haven't tried anything with the PTO, yet.

I'd have the same concerns about renting hydraulic equipment and attaching it to my PT. Just don't know where that thing has been and what kind of fluid has been run through it. Non-powered implements would be great, though.

With that said, it would be a handy adapter if you ever run across used or unique Bobcat equipment that you would like to use on your PT.

Did u make adaptors for the hoses? I stopped by the Bobcat place, but they wouldn't help.

Seems like I could buy Bobcat fittings for the skid steer side and Poewr Trac fittings for the attachment side and put them together, even if I need to make up a hose.

I went to a hydraulic shop and had hoses made up with the right ends to screw into the cylinders at one end and to mount the PT compatible quick connects at the other. Sorry, I don't know the nomenclature for the type of coupler.
If you take the hose off any implement and take it to a hydraulic shop with the coupler, they can adapt anything to anything. I had hoses made because the grapple bucket didn't have any.
