Anyone use tomahawk skidsteer attachments?

It was .a regional repossession company. . Ive bought a few items through there, most have been good deals. Bristol In is just 25 miles south of my location. Probably should have gone direct to the manufacturer? Any way it is here now and I need to get it rigged so that I can put it to work.

I picked one up on an auction site this past week. With buyers premium it was $827, and I had to pick it up. My Malinda is 38hp and the grapple looks solid enough for it. Ive yet to mount it as I don't yet have the hydraulics up front. I should have checked this thread before bidding. There were 4of these in the sale with some variations. All sold around the same price. Makes me wonder if someone from the manufacturer was bidding against me to get their price?

Maybe not the manufacturer but I would be more surprised if something wasn't funny with the bidding.

So, who exactly are you?

I contacted DH Machine to become a dealer, when they were still sold as Versatech. They said they had a lot of interest but could not work outside the single distributor due to the agreement. Polk sent over a distributor price list when they got the deal, and were the "exclusive"... now it appears even that is opened up. The biggest issue for me is they would only give dealer pricing if you bought 5 of the same, I would have done 5 different attachments but not all 5 of the same thing. Obviously as a dealer it is often beneficial to custom order for a customer one or two items.

I ran into the same issue with not able to deliver to my address. They use Old Dominion Freight Line who does not deliver to residential addresses. You have to find the closest OD terminal and have it delivered there for pickup.

Not true. Old Dominion delivered my pallet forks to our ranch. They also delivered my 84" grapple.

With most trucking companies, there is an up-charge to deliver residential.
Assuming of course that you'll be slower and less equipped than a business.

For me, with a "sketchy" (they're just chicken) turnaround area, they back down the seasonal road about 0.4 miles. Doesn't take *that* long.. =)
