anyone using a swing rear box scraper w/ their NH

I went looking for box scrapers and the dealer had two types.
One had a swinging rear blade and the other was fixed. The dealer said that the one with the swinging rear gate required a good three point control system to use effectively. He was a Deere dealer and said new knew the deere had a good control system but didn't know about the NH.
Any comments that would help me out?

I'd sure like to know what he meant by "good." Maybe he meant made very strong or maybe he meant able to do tiny feathering adjustments, but "good" doesn't tell me a whole lot. Both of my boxblades have swinging rear gates, and I like them. It lets the inside blade cut more agressively than one without the rear swinging gate. Of course, I also have TnT, so that kinda gives me a "leg-up" on the control issue.

I suspect that for the same class of tractor, you'll find the Deere and the New Holland very close in respect to the strength and control of the 3PH.

I have a box blade with the hinged rear blade and use it with a NH TC33DA. I have had no problems with it or the TPH system. I don't know what your dealer was implying by good but my NH has operated very well at both fine adjustment and in the strength of the system. I would not think that you should have any problems.
