Anyone using heated clothing?

/ Anyone using heated clothing? #12
My wife has rheumatoid arthritis in her hands really bad and heated gloves are pretty much a necessity for her when she feeds our horses and works our dogs with the ATV every day in the winter. We have tried a half dozen different brands. Some of them very expensive. All but one brand has failed in less than one winter. The brand she has now is going through their second winter and are by far the warmest that she has ever owned. And they were not the most expensive of those she has purchased.

I have a garden tractor with blade that has a BMW plug on it so I can use my heated jacket and gloves. Works great.

I had the same problem and finally found a pair of gloves that keeps my hands warm.... really warm!

Cabela's: Grandoe Strata GORE-TEXョ Gloves

Also, Cabela's makes a knock-off of these that is cheaper and works equally well. I think these are the ones:

Cabela's: Cabela's GORE-TEXョ Pinnacle Gloves

My wife has a pair of the Cabela's and she says that they are the warmest gloves she has ever worn. No comparison to anything else.

Great idea on the heated m/c clothing for the tractor, btw. Thanks! I don't ride anymore but still have my heated vest. I started looking at it yesterday to figure out which plugs I need to hook it up to my tractor.

I used to ride anytime there wasn't snow on the road but I've become pretty much a fair weather rider the past few years so haven't been using the vest for riding. It was great on the open tractor, way better than nothing, also you don't have that 70mph breeze pulling the heat out of you on the tractor:D.

Here's the deal on heated gloves. She has paid as much as $350.00 for a pair. Again, with her rheumatoid arthritis, heated gloves are pretty much a necessity. The cold causes her unbearable pain in her hands and she's a pretty tough gal. The previous brands failed in less than a year including the $350.00 pair. When we called the manufacturer they said the would not stand behind these gloves because she was using them improperly. She was using them as work gloves and not for solely riding an ATV and/or a motorcycle. The brand she has now are being used daily as work gloves and are holding up very well. And she said these are by far the warmest she has ever used. She has the SG-13 gloves.Venture Battery Heated Clothing Online Shop - The All-in-one Online Shop for Battery Heated Clothing!
