Kubota M5140 Case 580C, Case 450C, Case 850B John Deere 350C, Kubota L185, Kubota L245H,
Anyone with a B1750 or B1550 when you place the key in the run positon (before turning the key to start engine positon) do any of the panel lites come on? I would guess the low oil and charging lite would come on ???

Tractor will not start. B1750HST-D is the model, panel lights do not come on now when key is turned to the first position (run) and when key is turned to the start position, the engine turns over fine. NO smoke comes out of the exhaust pipe. I suspect that a perhaps a switch is not being activated to allow fuel to supply the injectors? A rodent may have chewed through a wire or grounded a wire? or a component has failed. I have no manuals for this tractor as it belongs to a friend, that has no mechanical skills. Thanks for any help

I am hoping that the manual shut down control is not pushed fully in, But the no panel lites when key is turned to the first position (ON) has me being doubtful. This is a friends tractor that I only operate twice a year that is why I don't recall it lites come on normally in panel or not. Any suggestions appreciated, Thanks

find the shut off solenoid & remove it..inorder to get it running.. You'll prob. have to bleed the air out of the system seeing it sat so long.
Loosen ALL the lines AT THE INJECTORS, to see if its squirting fuel..
as far as fixing all your electrical problems, sorry, your on your own..

You have 2 potential problems. One is fuel the other is wiring. On Rats and wiring on tractors sitting in barns for extended periods of time "plan on it happening". But the fuel problem may just be the result a wiring problem as pump guy mentioned.

Agree on getting the fuel shut off solenoid bypassed if equipped (not familiar with model). Since you have no lights but can roll the starter the wiring problem is probably up behind the instrument panel where rats have build a nest and enjoyed the insulation and possibly wire that feeds 12v to the panel.

In that wiring harness, you may find the feed wire to the solenoid that is chewed up.

On long sitting and diesels, that's one of the things I like. They sit and sit and hit the starter and bam....ready to go...usually with a lot of slobber and old combustion deposits blowing out of the stack. Doesn't hurt to check air inlet breather to ensure it's not clogged.....due to the same pests.

I had a B1750HSD years ago
When the switch is turned off the shutdown solenoid is activated, stoping the engine
About 20 seconds later a click will be heard
This is the shutdown solenoid de-activating leaving the engine ready to start
A shutdown timer controls this
Can't remember the lights right now
Post in Kubota Owning/Operating for best help
Good Luck!
