Hey AKFORD, I purchased mine directly from them at www.tinytach.com You want the diesel model with the 6mm transducer. Excellent folks to deal with and quick shipping.
I will post some pics shortly of the install of it. Was not hard to do except they no longer recommend the 9volt battery method. You have to install and use the juice on the machine. What i did was looked for the plug that everyone else said was under the dash but couldn't find it. So i found the wire coming from the starter assembly that was hot when the key was on, I then pushed the power and ground wires into this plug to get juice. I will take some photos of this also.
I made a bracket out of metal and installed on the dash. I drilled a hole in the top of the dash and used a standard rubber 3/8" grommet to run the wires thru.
I then ran the wires thru the throttle cable hole under the dash and taped them to the throttle cable till they got to the other side of the engine where the fuel lines were.
Again give me a bit and i will post some pics.
Also the reason you want to attach it to the keyed on wire rather that the battery is the tach also has the function to keep track of 25 and 50 hr service reminders and also accumulative hours.
Couple other things i remember, I used flat black tractor paint found at any fleet farm ect for the painting of the bracket. It matches the dash color perfect. I also put double sided tape underneath the bracket so it wouldnt scratch the dash when dirt gets underneath and it starts to vibrate.
The wires come off the key assembly under the dash and run into a plug. The wire color you want to attach the red tiny tach power wire to would be the red wire with the white stripe. Then attach the other tiny tach wire (ground) to the black wire next to it. I just picked up two male wire ends from the store and then attached them to the tiny tach wires. I then pushed these male ends into the plug next to the stock wires and taped them in. If you can find the connector under the dash that the others have used then that is the easier way to go but i didnt have one of those. Im thinking that the bx1500 might not have that extra connector thats why i used the wire off the key assembly.
The bolts i used to hold the tach onto the bracket are 8mm 1/2" long with a lock nut. I used these as they fit very snug and with the lock nut no extra bolt was sticking out the end. This gave it a nice clean finished look overall.
This pic is of the positioning on the dash and the grommet below it. Alot of this is from the other post showing where he placed in on the dash. Really is a great place to put it.
