Apple cider anyone?

My dad said I can have his cider press. He said it was originally from his grandfather. Maybe next year I'll be making my own cider.

Wow...that's really cool to have a family heirloom like that. You should make some cider with it!

That will be nice. I'm not necessarily from the school of "Older is better", but you will probably get more cider per bushel than most homeowner presses. A comparable press today would cost more than many of us want to pay for personal use. Post a couple of pics of it working, when the time comes.

Tapped a keg last night, that I had been carbonating for several weeks. Started making it about 2 months ago. It was fantastic.
