I'm a big fan of Henry because the way their lever rifles loads/unloads.

It just occurred to me I dont know what the AR stands for, this is what I found...........
The é„*R in é„*R-15 rifle stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. é„*R does NOT stand for 殿ssault rifle or 殿utomatic rifle. AR-15-style rifles are NOT 殿ssault weapons or 殿ssault rifles. An assault rifle is fully automatic, a machine gun.

Yes this misconception will trip up most I would bet!

Here are the AR-1 and AR-5, both bolt actions:

I purchased my first .223 instead of the 22WMR that I wanted, because the cost of the ammo, at the time, was identical,,
Even now, as compared to owning two rifles, simply owning the .223 is the cost effective thing to do.

and, if I remember correctly, someone figured out how to make a functional semi-auto with the .223 cartridge,,,

.223 American Eagle (Federal) is available until Sept. 30, from Outdoorlimited.com, in 1000 round bulk packaging, for $293.99 with $5 off (code 50ff200), and a $30 mail in rebate.
Shipping is additional, but for me, shipping to Florida was $19.39.
Total after rebate = $278.38 = 27.8 cents per round.
I will get $9.35 cash back from my B of A credit card, so all told: 26.9 cents per round
I think that is a great delivered to the door price.
