I used to hear ads touting biodiesel maybe 10-15 years ago, but not so much in recent years. Didn't even know Arco was still around...haven't seen one of their stations in forever.
Most pumps in Oregon and Washington state have a 5% bio-diesel sticker on them also. Going green pricing is costing us more, too!
Its just like everything green, taking more money out of your pocket so you have less.
All they have around here in Western Illinois at the pumps is bio. It’s probably B5 but a sticker says it could be up to B30. I know you can get off road that is pure diesel but you have to buy it in large quantity.
There was a study several years ago that I’ve seen published on lubricity of diesel additives. Biodiesel was the best. It’s fine except when it gets cold, when things get down near zero I’ve had it gel on me.
