Not at all! I think that genuine comparisons, and/or opinions - respectfully stated - should not be taken as an insult. I find that they add to my tractor savy and knowledge, and anything that helps a Polack actually learn something is a good thing! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sometimes I miss the Northeast. We can't refer to each other in the endearing terms here in Politically Correct Colorado like we did when I was growing up in Connecticut. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif We were all proud of our ancestry - out here, the PC's seem to be ashamed of their ancestry, and are happy to be "unaffiliated" with their heritage. When I was growing up, me and all my friends all had our nicknames base on what part of the world our families originated from, and we were darn proud of it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I agree! What's more I agree that it's a shame Bob deleted his posts because I think possibly others would have been posting some good comparison shots of different brands, stimulating discussion on the pros and cons of different tractors. That's a good thing. But, as I said, I was not so sure it was a good subject to broach simply because people get so upset if someone says their brand may be inferior to another.
The gist of what Bob did was that he took pictures of a New Holland and compared them to pics of a Branson and basically said what he thought were deficiencies that may mean the NH is worth the extra money. See how that could P*** someone off, but we all say plenty that could do that!
Anyone that's been here for a while knows that Bob and I disagree about many things, but I'll defend him on this, that it wasn't anything for anyone to get in a huff about.
My defending Bob has already caused another earthquake over in Indonesia. I hope this doesn't cause another after shock! John
