Even if you aren't on the official register of historical buildings you still probably don't want to "ruin" a classic building just to be able to drive a tractor inside. I'd have to build an aesthetically matching addition with clearance for the tractor.
It gets cold here too but not as much and not as long. We can get below zero but usually not often and not for long. We are having 10 degree above normal weather now and a little rain. Eventually we will cool off and even get enough frost to transform the persimmons into usable fruit.
