Are Fuel Filters generic and universal?

The nipple ends imply universal hose sizing.

Yes I just cut the smaller ends off for my lawn tractor and it should have a flow arrow on it or marked inlet.........

If it’s an in line filter there are lots that should work. Canister filters are much more specific.

There is a micron rating. I tend to buy the 10 micron ones from the dealer. Either Kawasaki or certain Briggs and stratton
