Are new Yanmars good tractors? How are these prices

I would put the new Yanmar tractors against the best of the Orange, Blue or Green tractors out there. Comparing some of the Green tractors to the Yanmar tractors would be a real easy as some of the JD models are still completely made by Yanmar. Thru the early 2000's most of the Deere CUT's were made by Yanmar and Deere still use all Yanmar engines in their CUT's. The only reason that I didn't replace my JD770 with a Yanmar was I wanted a factory Cab. The other thing that is real nice about the Yanmar engine is the direct injection, it starts easier at 20F than most start at 60F. I never used glow plugs unless it was less than 20F.

I bought a Yanmar Sc2450 back in May and it has performed flawlessly so far. I have just under 50 hrs on it. I felt I got a great value for my money.

I'm looking at either a EX3200TL for 12,200 or EX450 TL for 14,500 at a local dealer. Are these prices decent for brand new with a loader? Are the new Yanmar tractors any good?

Those prices seem like a steal. I know you said brand new but sometimes the tractors sit on the lot for awhile. Do these have just Yanmar on them or are they left over cub/yanmar tractors. I paid $12,100 for my sc2400TL back in Sept. 2009. I would have jumped on a EX3200 or even the EX450 for a few thousand more.

They are brand new and they have many of each. Hard to say how long each has been on the lot.

Pull the trigger if you haven't yet, I just purchased an SX3100 and love it very well built unit. Great warranty. the ex3200 your talking about has the same yanmar
engine that the sx3100 has, she purrs like a kitten. I was looking at the ex3200 but wanted something alittle smaller and lighter. The price you list is very very good. I also picked the sx3100 because of the mmm and a mid pto otherwise i would of also purchased a ex3200. Good luck and hope this helps !!!:thumbsup:
