My experience in life has taught me that if you never cut your friends any slack and expect them to be perfect 100% of the time, you won't have many friends. Nor will you be worthy of anyone's friendship. For gosh sakes, the guy realized his error and apologized.

I don't know how you drew the conclusion that I majored in Art. What the heck does that have to do with anything? But even at that, you couldn't be more wrong. Try Engineering.

"Drawing a conclusion" = "Majoring in art". Draw.....art? :ROFLMAO:

Have a guy at work that I thought was a friend. Loaned him tools, gave him a good buy on gun and ammo I sold him. A few year later at work he stabbed me in the back on 3 different occasions over a year. I cut him slack before this because I'm slow to anger but after that I rarely talk to him even though he's works on the same floor.
I don't have who I consider a friend, besides my wife, and probably never will. Not worth the headache.

I thought that you have a Ford with powerstroke?
I do. That is the farm truck. I drive a gas powered buggy 99% of the time. Last year I drove it so little I didn't need to add any fuel. Rest assured it has biocide in it however.

I majored in staring up Ms. Pendergast's legs myself....lol She had a set of pins and always let me look...

Pay it. Charge more.

This is not hard to understand.

It’s just not that easy. You ddon’t seem to understand that everyone buying diesel fuel cannot pass along all the costs.

Pat yourself on the back....but it's not hard to what you do. A lot of us do it.

Also..if you haven't had a loan in 20 years...you have no credit. I would like to be proved wrong on that though... :)
I haven't had a loan in almost 50 years and I would be willing to bet my credit score is higher than yours. There isn't a day go by that I don't get mail telling me that they will give me $400 to $800 to apply for one of their credit cards that I am already approved for. I could easily give you all the proof you want.

Don't pay off a credit card in full each month, leave some balance. Building credit costs money and if you pay off a card each month, you're not building credit. You need to have some credit outstanding to build credit.

Dave Ramsey has actually made a lot of people dumb...

The better way to build credit is to take out a personal loan and put that money into a money market. Then make the minimum payment to keep a credit balance on yourself ongoing. Only borrow an amount you can pay off in the next 12 months, like 3 grand. Just keep doing this every 12 months and you will have a credit score of 820+. You will make back those finance charges on the low rate you get on a big ticket item.
With only mortgage interest it is possible to consistently have a FICO score in the 840+ range without carrying a nickel of revolving debt...

Keeping consumer debt such as car loans or keeping a credit card balance as necessary to increase FICO score is a myth... otherwise how could one have near perfect score never having either?

I think Ramsey has generally good advice but not the path I followed... especially his Real Estate advice...

I was buying a home every 12 to 18 months in my 20's by purchasing distressed property, moving in and rehabbing, pulling my cash out out with a new first loan with debt service covered by rent and repeating.

Following his advice I never would have been able to continue this as my debt ratio would often be double or more than Ramsey max...

I was young with no debt other than mortgage and able to throw every penny of income into making it work and ate a lot of Ramen along the way and moved into some very dilapidated properties in some sketchy neighborhoods...

You better make sure you're stuff is in order before proceeding. Over confidence is a he'll of a drug.
