Are Rayco c140 any good on steap land

I live and work in Wales UK as a steap agricultural land contractor involving land clearing, cultivating, reeseeding and lime / fert spreading and local outhoraty work like fire breaks and nature conservation.
At the monent I run a New Holland TK100A ag type crawler tractor with Seppi forestry mulcher, Cultivator and so on.
The plan is to get a C140 or a FTX 140 to do as a mulcher and a tractor aswell - hoping it will be a lot more relieble!!!

Mine works great on steep grades, just make sure u get a 140 with all the upgrades done to it: final drives, plates weld on the hyd. & diesel tanks to prevent cracks, slotted lugs in the H frame to allow the head to contour to the terrain an relieve stress, have the computer reprogramed so the hyd cooler fan will run at full speed.

Have you had a look at the AHWI RT200,it should go where a c140 can but with more hp

Don't know, the RT200 is made in Germany but Fecon may import them. Notice they shaft drive the mulcher head so they should be a lot simpler in the hydraulics (hopefully no computers). Darn it just went through the brochures **** cabus wires so more computer junk

Not narrow minded Robbie, just different strokes for different folks. I wouldn't get a one day job for a 800 and there are plenty of 400 plus machines parked up over here.
