We are purchasing a ranch and a mustang skidsteer is conveying as part of the purchase. Do skidsteers sold with a title or just a bill of Sale? I'm in central Texas. Thanks for the response

I've never heard of one. A signed bill of sale with the serial number and description of the unit will be just fine.

Ditto. Year, make, model, serial number, and include any attachments such as a post hole digger or back hoe, extra buckets, etc. and you're good to go.

For equipment under 3 years old, there's always a possibility it was leased. Paying the seller is no guarantee the leasing company gets paid. Unfortunately, there's no central clearing house for researching a lease in any state. It's a bad day when a repo guy shows up with the sheriff. Ask the question and if leased, make the check payable to the leasing company.

Thanks McCaskey he's had the skidsteer for eight years and it's almost 20 years old so I think I'm alright but that's good advice.
