Are there many sites selling new and used Implements On-Line?

Many (new) dealer sites list used equipment they have but a lot of them do not keep them updated...and a lot of the time they update them by marking "SOLD" on listed items...

I never could figure out why they would use their page space listing sold equipment other than the possibility that the listed descriptions attract shoppers via search engines...

so wished between Used Tractors For Sale at TractorHouse.com: John Deere Tractors, used farm tractors and farm equipment, tractors for sale, Case IH, New Holland, Agco, Kubota and www.machinerytrader.com they would list other implements better. it is getting better though. sadly is costs to list stuff beyond the in initial free listing.

as /pine notes, many dealers list used equipment on there own website, but many times you need to call local dealers directly.

craigslist: chicago classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events is a pain, and hard to search key terms for various things. due to everyone has there own "term" they know something by.

IRON Search - New & Used Farm Machinery - Tractors - Agricultural Equipment for Sale - By Dealers & Owner is another one, but not as popular as tractorhouse or machinerytrader not a fan of the site personally due to all the ad's and yada yada.

i use local newspapers as well when searching for the more costly items. but not really worth it any more. simply not enough listings to make it worth while. and extra clicks to try and find something.

When I first read the title of the thread, I was going to check to see if anyone had recommended Sweet Tractors. If nobody did yet, I was going to point them to Free shipping included in our product prices,

Locally we have a large dealer with large inventories of used equipment. They have their own site plus they use agdealer.com and Kijiji to advertise.

Ken, not sure if this would work for you but here is a link to a clickable map creator. It real easy to use and it creates all the scripts to upload to your site. You can create a separate link for each state or zone. ie someone clicks on MI and you can have a page with all the depots and pricing for different weights. You would only create the links once then all you would have to do is update the individual state or zone page when necessary. Very professional looking.
