I'm looking at designing a loader for a machine with 64hp. Don't know the pump capacity, but it should be quite high. It has a number of 12.5gpm valves (8 of them) already on it (if i use 2 of those valves rather than adding a separate loader control). I'd like the loader to be able to handle 1600lb of or so of dirt, and use a 6ft bucket.
Haven't drawn up a full design yet, but i found a good deal on some welded cylinders and i'd like to grab them while they're available, IF they're suitable to "build a loader around".
Here are the specs:
BORE 2'' Bore - 3000 PSI COLUMN LOAD 9420 lbs.
STROKE 16'' PORT SIZE SAE 6
ROD DIA 1 1/4'' PIN DIA 1''
RETRACTED 26 1/4'' SHIP WT. 22
EXTENDED 42 1/4''
Do these sound like a good choice?
I know i really should do a full design before deciding on the cylinders, but i can get these quite cheap and don't want to miss the deal, and am willing to "design around them" if necessary.
Thanks for any advice.
PS, the loader is NOT for my YM186D
