Seems to be most are. There are a few persnickety nitpickers stuck on making the same comments/demands in posts. Most are cool though.

Some other boards/forums including the one who touts being 'the friendliest', ... isn't. Some seem to be brand snobbish or stuck in the past on vintage stuff. This one seems more wide ranging and tolerant of ... opinions, which we all have.


Still a bit confused about the disappeared though.

Don't know about "the disappeared"??? But, I have had a tom of fun and found the forums and people to be great. There are always a few that seem very upset anyone would do something different than "their way", but as you said they are few and far between.

Life is way too short to waste time and energy on the ego/testosterone driven BS of others. Responding to *h*les only brings one down to their level and only feeds into their BS. Easy to post a little harder to do.

If its around the "I know best" kind of thing, then fully understand. There are some on every forum that if their comment is not taken as gospel they keep repeating it. It is fun to sit back and let them talk. There are a few on iboats (place I spend most my time) that go off the deep end. The arrogant ones are everywhere and just part of forums
