To me: Buying a $5 coffee at Starbucks is a status symbol for some people...they want to convince themselves they are big operators and worthy of spending such an inflated price. I doubt if the coffee there is even worth $1.50.
That would be nice to think so but I doubt that it tastes three times better then regular coffee made right in a clean coffee machine.i think folks buy that because it tastes good.
Misquote: Love of money is the root of evil.
Whats not to love? How about charging $5.00 for a cup of coffee that at best is only worth $1.50.
I think you are saying that I insulted HS. I don't know that anyone can insult HS more than he insults others. Here is his quote in this thread about me "Most people with your point of view I've come across in life either lack ambition or just weren't successful, and now claim their situation is what they like, what a crock, good luck justifying that to your self and others and celebrating your race to the bottom".
Don't buy the coffee, buy the stock.
Edit: on second thought, since I am a major shareholder.... Buy the coffee.
That would be nice to think so but I doubt that it tastes three times better then regular coffee made right in a clean coffee machine.
Bad behavior, to be sure. But I think that using someone else's bad behavior as an excuse for your own is also poor form.
