Mahindra 2555 HST CAB
I've actually been waiting for this to happen...I've owned my 2555HST for almost 4 years now. EVERY winter when it drops below 20 my door handle freezes up. It's never been an major issue, just an annoyance, until tonight.

We're having some intense winds (up to 60mph) and when I was plowing the driveway she popped open and broke the door hinge...I didn't take a look in detail tonight...figured I'd breathe and take a closer look tommorow.

Mahindra should *really* address the latch issue in cold weather...

THANKS for letting me vent...

I went out to see if my machine had the same design flaw......realized I don’t have a cab!?!?!

Happy to let you vent but I do get to give you a hard time right?!? Haha

Hope it’s an easy fix

I would imagine that will be an easier/less expensive fix than the glass door.

Absolutely!

But we're 1400 feet off the road, and I WASN'T going to be plowing the driveway in an OPEN station tractor in Central NY!!!!

Some of the manufactures depending on what part of the world they are in don't have much experience with some of the climates and conditions we deal with.

My friend just bought a Lincoln SUV, it has mirrors that move in towards the doors when you turn the vehicle off, it didn't take long to freeze solid and break in the last ice storm..

You are supposed to park your Lincolns in air conditioned/heated garages!

lol and you should read the manual and follow the instructions to shut the power fold mirrors off during winter..

We've been having those insane winds here in Southern NH too.

Pic is kinda dark, can't really tell where it's broken. Wondering if the hinge on my 2655 Cab is the same style.
