Ariens HT16

I recently picked up an Ariens HT16 tractor for the right price. The Kohler runs great and everthing else seems to be in good shape except it doesn't have a deck. I've been looking for one for a couple months without much luck, so I was wondering if these tractors were ever sold under another name besides Ariens? Or if you know where a complete deck could be located I'd be very appreciative.

My bad, I mean used. The guy I got it from stated that he tried to get just the deck itself (rusted out) from Ariens and couldn't. Besides, instead of saving any of the parts he just threw the whole thing away. I would think that to buy one complete from Ariens wouldn't be much cheaper than buying a newer, maybe even new, mower. Thanks though.

Ariens has been Ariens for quite some time. The are more popular in Northern climates due to their reputation for snowblowers. I would look in the weekly sales papers & check local mower/tractor dealers for trade-ins. You might get lucky & find one with a blown engine, but a decent deck.

It HAS been five years since this post but I have a HT16. I just acquired. It has ALL good working attachments but I cant get the blades to engage or the wheels to turn. I JUST got it running (problem with the starter). If someone might be interested in the deck or visa versa, leave a message.
