When I raise the brush hog, I can only go so far before the 3pt. hitch arms contact the back hoe frame. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Do you have the backhoe attacted and the brush hog attached at the same time?

Is the backhoe a Kubota bh65?
Or is it a Woods or other brand backhoe?
Have the three point hitch lower links been installed properly?
Pictures of your setup would really help.

Is it a Kubota BH65 backhoe on your B2920 or another brand? Just from looking at some photos of the BH65 on a B2920, it does look like it has a very tight subframe mount and there's not a lot of room for the 3 point linkages. You might find using a different toplink hole works better (there are 3 mounting holes on the tractor for the toplink). Using the lowest hole would give you more lift of the implement so the lower arms don't have to go up quite as high. Also, shortening the toplink slightly will give more lift to the back of the implement.

Maybe some owners with that particular tractor+BH setup will have additional comments.
