Arrowhead hunting

There were 2 springs on the last property I had. I always thought of going back there with a shovel to see if I could find anything. I never did but I was guessing that the Indians and everyone since then frequented those spots since the nearest river was about 8 miles away.

Yesterday I found an old Nehi bottle at the recycling center, that sucker weighs about a pound! My guess is someone passed away and a family member thought "PawPaw sure was a pack rat"

It's mine now, someone in my family will try to throw it away at some point :laughing:

We too live in mid-state TN, and I am sure there was a lot of early American activity around our place. I have never found anything, but our neighbor a ｼ mile away has a spot that must have been used to manufacture stone tools, lots of pieces and chips. Where about in TN are you?
