Sup all,
__Artisan here, a Licensed, Master, Journeyman, Plumbing Contractor, currently in business and residing in the San Gabriel valley of Southern California, wife from Oregon, myself from Mass. Union trained 5.5 years.
__Switched from new construction and major remodels to service and repair and small remodels 11 years ago and I am HAPPIER for it. I make MUCH more money fixing what the jacklegs are screwing up in lieu of playing the "Who wants to loose the most money BID game." with General Contractors.
__At least 85% of all my work is fixing what the wannabe's have done prior to myself. "EVERYONE wants to be a plumber, oh they make so much money!" But the wannabes are CLUELESS! HA! Amongst other things, I call them Lick N' Stick Shi"p"heads. You know the ones, they carry as much silicone on there truck as tools, no company name on there truck so they can change tele numbers frequently to rid themselves of those pesky warranty people they hosed last week, TWICE, cause they were "Cheap". It is AMAZING that so many people are SO CLUELESS as to quality service and think it matters not if a plumber is CHEAP. Service is NOT a commodity folks, but as I know, few will EVER understand...
__I carry NO SILICONE or other illegal thread sealants. NPT threads need LUBRICATION people, NOT a thread "Sealant".Common sense AND the UPC says no, if you cut and use good threads you will rareley have a problem.
__Look for me on the cover of Reeves Journal magazine July 2002. THAT, is a piece of equipment, serves me WELL. Lets see who is resourceful and finds me.
__So now I am getting older and I care not to dig as much as I did. ( But I STILL have to teach grown men here in L A County HOW TO USE A SHOVEL. It is VERY sad. ) So a Small tractor is in order...a BX25 awaits me somewhere. As soon as I find a dealer w/ the right numbers I pull the trigger... I have a couple of posts up already in the Buying and Pricing area of KUBOTA
__Any dealers want to quote me? FOB LA County.
