I have a minor issue, the seat belt won't retract and the pot metal in the spring rusted to pieces. Can I call Kioti and make a claim to get the seat belt replaced or do I have to go thru the dealer? Just wondering?
As a Kioti owner can we make warranty claims without going to dealer?

While I am not a Kioti dealer, I am Director of Service for a large OEM company. You will have to go through the dealer. The dealer is the authorized service provider for Kioti for both billable service and warranty claims. Most like if Kioti deals with you direct, they will be violating their contract with the local dealer--much in the same way that Ford had to sell/service through a dealer.

Not a kioti owner either, but the first thing you need to do is call your dealer. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, they may just send you the parts.
Only warranty claim I had on my Kubota was the tach cable twisted off at 0.3 hrs. Being a mechanic, it was no big deal to change and would save the dealer a trip out with a tech. They gladly just mailed me a new cable at my request. Although they would have also gladly did it themselves, it was not a big deal for me to do it when convenient for me
