As if trimming trees in a FEL isn't dangerous enough

Doing it with a hydraulic lift placed in the FEL has got to be even more dangerous. One Boyd, TX resident was killed and another hospitalized when the hydraulic lift fell backwards onto the tractor. It is not specified whether the lift was a scissor lift, but that's all I can see fitting into a FEL bucket. At any rate, the results were tragic.

What I am getting from the first post is that the second person fell out of the lift and fell from some height , killing himself, and hurting the other person. I don't believe it said that the lift itself fell on him. The railing or something on the lift apparently came loose. The lift may have been safe enough, but the person wasn't.

I think we all have made some dumb mistakes, but this one was fatal for his friend.
