When it comes time to start fixing it, you might want to call someone like me... then again...
Couple years ago, FIL was over and we're all making dinner. Wife runs upstairs to get ready while I helped clean the Asparagus. I was told to cut the nubs off the shaft and was handed a peeler.
My FIL was next to me. he did one for about every 9 I could do as I was whirrling away.
Wife came down and about shreaked...
Seems no one told me the best part was the tips. I was doing exactly what I was told...cleaning the nubs off the stalk....INCLUDING the big one.
I sharpened about 3/4ths of them to the point of them looking like pencils. Of course, the point of the "pencil" was where the tip use to be.
Now we all get a good laugh about it but they STILL don't ask me to help clean the Asparagus.... EVER.
