I test drove an RC50 1 year ago and was going to purchase it to replace my LS160 NH. I felt the RC50 lacked power and decided to put off the purchase. Then I was introduced to a CAT 257 it uses ASV RC50 undercarriage, and that is where the commonality end . The power in the CAT is unstoppable, the ergonomics is excellent and the maintaince aspect is made more user friendly. I am glad I waited, while the price is more dear the delta is worth it. Cat has some very good incentives running on their track machines. Also ASV introduced two new models RC65 and RC85 they have much more in common with the Cat series.
