Here are the updates that I have;

Larger Interior on MP1 Cab
New Key Location
Stiffer Door frame
Better Seal on Hood
More Torque in High Speed
Improved Fill Rate on Fuel tank
Steel Fuel Line

Personally, I love the SR-80. It has been a good machine and is very nice. I believe that is all they changed and for the price increase I would look at the SR-80 for sure. PM me for some details.

There is no fit, form, or function difference between the SR80 and PT80. They are the same machine with updated paint scheme and decals. The differences mentioned in operator comforts are the difference between the MP1 and MP2 cab options, which were originally introduced on the SR models.

Well it's water under the bridge now as I own the sr80. I believe the only difference which I still would have liked to at least feel was the 2nd gear torque. I was NOT able to go up a slight incline in 2nd gear with sr80. It is a
mute point at this point, but I was disappointed that sr80 will not move up even a slight road rise.

It is a moot point here as well, but I am surprised at the tractive torque available in high gear with the SR80. Often I am loading from a pile and do not realize I'm still in high gear until I try to turn.

All SR-80's PT-80's have a 2-speed indicator on the same gauge the glow-plus light is on, it is a turtle and a rabbit, I can't see it real well in the bright sun though. My 06 SR-80 will go up inclines fine in high speed, maybe not full speed or with a heavy load, but alot faster than in low.

The MP2 has the suspension seat, self leveling, 20" Tracks, and Hydraulic quick standard, those are options on the MP1. I have the MP2 which was not called MP2 because when I bought it there was no MP1.

So it sounds like I need to put the pressure on for the suspension seat as I
know I paid retail level for my sr80. I did get 20 inch tracks and quick couple
hydro, flashing yellow light and backup alarm, but no suspension..OUCH
