Hi Obed,

I apologize, but I haven't been following along as much lately, so I'm not at all sure how your welding project turned out or if you are still working on it. Anyway, a while ago I subscribed to a welding site that sends out emails with links to video tutorials on welding, but most if not all of the videos are SOOOO far over my head that I'll most likely never understand them.

As it happens, today the video was titled "115 volt Flux-core Tips", so I watched, and the guy did some flux-core welding using a MIG machine that has capabilities limited to pretty the same as the HF machine you and I both bought. He didn't care for it enough to recommend it, but he did show some tips and techniques to make the best of it.

Here is the link to his video:

I hope you are well, and that this video helps you as much as I think it will help me [I already watched it a couple of times and made some notes...]

So strange, he returned. Posted a respond to a few questions from after the last time he posted and nothing else. Like he got distracted and did not read the 10 pages or so after where he was reading?

No post telling us he is OK just busy, or on a biz trip etc?? Or anything that he has been up too??

He must be really busy and just got sidetracked after the 5 or 10 mins it took to read those posts and post a reply?

It's possible the management took away his ability to post. After all these years. Tony

Possible, but they supposedly have not banned anyone in years and they only do that if u constantly fight or provoke other members. Ones is very well mannered.

Thinking the same thing. Or either he just totally ignores the last 10 pages of us kooking for him.

Maybe we just need to ask him real questions?

Ones how is your garden doing? Mine has almost stopped producing tomatoes.
clemsonfor,
Garden is doing fine. My wife has canned some green beans. We have more cucumbers than I can eat. I've been enjoying fresh fried okra. My wife makes the absolute best.
