Heck, maybe I should be asking what brews people don't like. )</font>

Rolling Rock. Tried it a couple times, just can't cultivate a taste for it. Been pretty much a Mich guy for about 10 years.

Reading this thread makes me think I must be a lush. I rarely drink after supper, so the amount consumed is directly proportional to time slot available, example get home at 6:00 eat at 7:00 = 1 beer. Get home at 2:00 eat at 9:00 = 10 beers. You get the idea.

For me, its what day it is. After at day of working the land and driving the tractor its iced tea. Does't take much after spending the day doing something you enjoy.

If its an end to a day at the job that pays the bills, its a cold Shiner Bock. Of course I'm a little biased being from Texas.

Re: At the end of the day, what\'s your brew?

Well, I took the day off from the yard today... bit of a mistake. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Played 18 over at Candlewood in New Milford, and the old back injury is screaming for attention! Nothing like a ruptured disk to put a smile in your weekend.

Anyway, beer just won't do it tonight, so I've moved on to dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and an advil chaser. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Gerard...if I could... I'd shake your hand and pat your back with encouragement. I've been through several tough periods with friends and family and have been very conscious of the need to moderate / abstain.

My friends laugh when I go to buy a case of beer for the 'summer'. I get by with 1 or 2 beers a week and can't remember the last time I was drunk....wait maybe that's a problem /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Good Luck and grab a Moxie /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif )</font>

Thanks for the vote of confidence /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. It gets easier everyday but there are those times that it does gets a little tough.

Re: At the end of the day, what\'s your brew?

Daedong,

I was going to say that the 4X was missing from your picture. I spent a week down under drinking with an Aussie. He preferred the Hahn's but that ripped me apart something fierce the next day.

I loved the 4x, but I don't think it was the bitter I was drinking. Is there another one?

I've tried all the ales, lagers, microbrews, stouts and used to be a beer snob. But now, I just enjoy a Coors Original or if with some friends we'll have a few Guiness.

By the way, if you need the beer to be ice cold to like the taste than its a bad beer. (Old Millwaukee, PBR, Shlitz) A good beer tastes good at cellar temperature.

Couldn't agree more! But a cold one on a hot day is always nice.

Re: At the end of the day, what\'s your brew?

ahhhh, yeah.....miller lite, bud lite, michelob ultra......free beer tastes best, but ultra is the new king.....dark beer (and jalapeno's) are for those who have killed their taste buds with coffee and cig's. True beer goes down smooth and stays down smooth...... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
