Aroud this time of the year I start getting ready for the grape harvest. Never was fond of wine until I started making my own. This usually will quinch my thirst all year.

If you are buying, I ain't choosy. If I'm buying, then Coors Light or Shiner Bock it is. My friend Ed's favorite question is:

"Whyizit that beer has food value, but food ain't got no beer value?" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

At halloween time try Dogfish Head pumkin ale. It's brewed about 20 miles from me. Good stuff!

( At the risk of sounding like a beer snob...I must admit I generally choose water if BudMillerCoors is the only option... )

Is there such a thing?--- /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I don't think so just someone with taste buds thats all.

I switch brands, mostly imports and micro brews. Right now I"ve got Beck's in the fridge ( both regular and dark).

Never have brewed my own beer but always thought it would be neat to try.

You know Gordon, I tried that Pumpkin ale and really wanted to enjoy it...

unfortunately, it may be one of the first smaller brews that I just really haven't enjoyed. Oh well, to each their own.

Now, Reineer beer sounds interesting. My Father climbed Reineer when he was younger, but never mentioned anything about a brew of said name.

Re: At the end of the day, what\'s your brew?

The wife and I just got back from a vacation at Colonial Williamsburg in VA, and man, do they have some great Ales at the taverns there!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tried a cream ale, unfiltered wheat ale, red ale, brown ale, and a lager that were all fantastic! Could also be that I was eating phenomenal dishes like game pyes and brunswick stews, etc. That place is great, if you haven't taken the fam., I highly recommend it... fun for everyone.
