Indeed it is ! Of course the wingman was in the passenger seat with a pint of polish brandy ! So after a few hours of plowin in a blizzard, you didnt know whether to belive him or not !

One old timer told me they were plowing up walker hill roadup here along time ago.Fields and stonewalls ran along side the road.They couldnt see their hand in front of their face it was snowing so hard.Made it to the farm at the end of road and turned around and returned.The next day they learned they had gone through a gate way,plowed up through the field instead of the road-and never knew it.Dont know if its true ,but they must have been tipping a few that night

Hmmm that is only 35-40 min north of me... my plow man just informed me that he was no longer going to be plowing us out. Seems he doesn't want to get up early enough to have us out by 6am. Maybe I should get one for our street, being a private road...no need to register. No clue how I would get it home though.

My dad used to drive a big old OshKosh for the town. He used to tell about one time they were plowing in a big snow in low range and he heard a thump, the wingman looked to the side just in time to see a Buick laying on it's roof on top of the snowbank. Dad said it never slowed down the truck at all.

Seems like such a huge heavy plow for a relatively small truck plus those wings, I don't know how it can carry all that weight never mind push snow? I've never seen one in action except Atgreene's video.
I guess it's that radical V shape that allows it to wedge through deep snow as opposed to pushing it. front ends must be pretty stiff!!!

At greene must not have been on since ive posted.Probably getting ready for this storm ,we are getting hammered .18-20 inches forcasted tonight,a good ole fashon NOR-EASER.These type of storms use to make the OSH KOSH shine so im told

How are you folks doing with this storm.Ijust blew 6 to 8 inches,boy its snowing hard.Ionly did it because i had the tractor out any way to fill my wood rack.Its a heck of alot easier and quicker than lugging it by the armfull.

Down in Ct we got about 9" on friday and another 4" on sunday! What I have heard, quite a bit more up in Vt.

The FEL is definitely the prefered tool when it comes to moving wood !

Nice! I missed this thread somehow. Great pics! I need to go take a look next time I'm in Farm town. That looks like an old W model, mine is a P model.
